Important Update: New Implementation Application Period
Important update! The next round of North Bay Forest Improvement Program Implementation Project applications will now be accepted January 16th-30th, 2026.
We have shifted the dates to allow time for feedback integration and to make other programmatic improvements.
We hope you will take this time to review the program and begin to prepare your application materials! Contact a local Registered Professional Forester, your local Resource Conservation District, or Clear Lake Environmental Research Center for more information on how to get started. The North Bay Forest Improvement Program (NBFIP) is a collaborative, regional program that supports forest health and wildfire risk reduction across Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma counties. This cost-share program provides financial incentives to landowners to conduct this critical work. 🌲🌳🌲
This program is a partnership between Conservation Works, the Resource Conservation Districts (RCDs) of Sonoma, Gold Ridge, Mendocino and Napa, and Clear Lake Environmental Research Center (CLERC). Together, we are providing assistance to landowners across the four-county region.
